What is 3D Modeling?
3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of object (either inanimate or living) via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model.-Wikipedia
Yep it is that nerdy:) 3d modeling is one of the most technically demanding art forms we work in. However, they also yield some of the most powerful potential for high production value. For those willing to venture into this realm the payoff in shear awesomeness is yours to enjoy!
Why Consider Using 3d Modeling?
In all seriousness, and all geeky-ness out of the way… 3D modeling ends up providing options for creative communication and powerful branding that are pretty sweet.
Just like in all motion graphics it is a matter of knowing how the message is perceived in the context of the project and in the context of the medium it is delivered in. It may be the right thing to add to your project and it might actually take away from the effectiveness of the message. However, we find that many people don’t know that this is even a possibility, especially in central Nebraska.
One way that this can be very helpful is in turning flat graphic design into elements that can have a lot of life when put into motion. The branding possibilities for businesses that have logos and graphics elements are almost limitless.
